Meet Ayla our Lead Editor, Creator and The Founder of I Am BeYoutiful. She has the vision, the creativity, the passion and the drive. Ayla knows what it’s like to not feel beautiful. Her challenging journey has cultivated a deep passion to empower girls to see the beauty within. Ayla’s dream is for every girl to understand that to be beautiful, is to be yourself.

Meet Abigail also known as Danielle Visuals, the Head of IAB’s photography, film and media production. She’s in charge of getting our creative team to produce self-loving content for our YouTube Channel. Abigail is an Advertising and Film graduate who likes to share subjects that are sensitive and meaningful to society. We are very grateful and so proud of her superb effort in directing and producing the I Am BeYoutiful documentary which can be seen on YouTube. Outside of IAB, Danielle Visuals is Abigail’s very own media company specialising in portraits for individuals as well as commercial photography for small businesses.

Meet Tracy, one of our fabulous creative content writers and Editor of the IAB magazine. She is a passionate advocate of intentional and sustainable thinking, living, and being which is a theme of her blog at traceoverit.co.uk. Her articles express her awareness that knowing ourselves not only positively impacts our own mental and physical health but can also positively impact society and the planet. She is a Freelance Writer/Editor and Food Anthropology MA graduate now pursuing her Life Coaching Diploma. Her dedication and commitment to IAB are clear as she always goes above and beyond for the cause. We are lucky to have her on the team.

Meet Doctor Nile, IAB’s very own Medical Doctor. She is a GP with a particular interest in Mental Health and life coaching. She holds a diploma in Women’s Health and has a wealth of experience working in the Drug and Alcohol Addiction services. Believe it or not, Nile’s medical expertise is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of her contribution to IAB. She’s relatable and down-to-earth, she’s everyone’s ‘Big Sis’, and has a real talent and interest in creative writing.

Meet Nadine, our Head of Fashion and Merchandise Designer. Style is her forte. She believes “Style confidence equals self confidence”. Her passion is to empower women to feel confident and beautiful in what they wear. Because your personality isn’t the first thing people see; style is a way of saying who you are without speaking.

Meet Renée our Podcast Hostess with the mostest! Renée has always had a passion for broadcasting and public speaking, as well as an aspiration to host a thought provoking podcast. In IAB she has found her platform and a means to fulfil that passion. In addition to her work with IAB, Renée works in Commercial Property in Sales and Marketing. She is also a community youth mentor with a focus on empowering teenagers and young people through KeepIt100, a project she set up herself.

Meet Nina, Head of IAB’s Music Department. Her passion for music stems from a young age and her enthusiasm for this art shines through all that she does. Her monthly music feature introduces us to new talented artists, and expands our awareness about the music industry and multifaceted aspects that makes music so interesting. She is also the curator behind our IAB monthly playlists, and if she is not jamming to the latest song, you can bet she’ll be found emerged between the pages of a book.

Meet Keyaani, Head of IAB’s Beauty Department, a self-confessed Skincare Enthusiast and face mask hoarder. Her passion and knowledge for all things beauty is unparalleled and stems from her time living in France where her skincare journey began. Her thorough product reviews leave no stone unturned and all our questions answered. With a BA in Development Studies and History, her probing interview style brings the experts to life, allowing us to absorb all their wisdom without lifting a finger. She shares her journey and experience with IAB to help our readers to feel more comfortable in their skin.

Meet Elsa, Assistant Editor of IAB and one of our talented writers, who never shy’s away from controversial topics and thought provoking debates. She is a lover of languages and is a graduate in English Literature, French and German and is also passionate about travelling, fitness and health. Her unwavering challenge of the status quo and her enthusiasm and positivity inspires young women to see their beauty and power and to find their voice and be heard.

Meet Victoria, an English Literature and Creative Writing student at University of Warwick who is an Assistant Editor and Writer at I Am BeYoutiful. Victoria strives to instill body confidence and self-love into women and young girls through her work at IAB, seeking to encourage them to begin their journey to love themselves authentically. She has a keen interest in opinion and current affairs journalism, screenwriting and creative writing. Victoria regularly writes for numerous publications, including her own blog, The Essentialist. In her spare time, Victoria likes to go to the gym, bake and read.

Meet Aa’ishah, a London based photographer and scriptwriter. She is confident behind the camera and is a valuable part of our podcast team. She is a Media and Communications graduate who explores real life situations in her written pieces. She enjoys uplifting her friends and the people around her and loves to capture beauty through her lens.

She is also a strong advocate for social equality and justice.

Meet Eyerusalem, an Ethiopian born, London based director. She is a graduate in Media (Film) Production at Staffordshire University, and as a result has experience in managing multiple aspects of a single production. Her passion lies in telling real stories, whilst blurring the lines between fiction and reality. Her work is deeply rooted in her interpretation of social issues that revolve around ethnic minority groups, such as western beauty standards and mental health within the black community.
